対象となった研究業績は、「OperandoイメージングXAFS法の開発と実固体触媒材料の可視化 」で、化学状態の2次元及び3次元可視化の観点から実用触媒材料が抱える諸問題を解決する糸口となる構造化学的知見を世界に先駆けて明らかにしたことが高く評価され今回の受賞となりました。
日本放射光学会では、放射光科学分野において優れた研究成果をあげた若手研究者の功績を称え、且つ、今後の更なる活躍を奨励するために、毎年3名未満の若手研究者(35歳未満)を選考し、年会にて表彰しています。
本賞は、35才以下の若手研究者に対し、革新性と独創性の高い、かつ化学や技術の進歩、発展に役立つ研究開発を表彰するものです。 本年度は、先端計測、環境・エネルギーの2分野に対して募集が行われました。
